Congressman Wilson reports that "we are now entering upon the third week's debate on the subject of Genl [Andrew] Jackson's conduct in the Seminole War." Explains that the argument, which focused on the legality/constitutionality of Jackson's sacking of Pensacola, divided along party lines.
