A salt print of a photograph taken of the Long Bridge in Washington, D.C. circa 1862. The camera is facing nearly due south. The picture must have been taken before 1864 when a second bridge was completed shortly downriver, as it is not present in the photograph. As of 2017, the route of the Long Bridge is now part of the 14th St. bridge complex. Title from pencil note on the print in the handwriting of Waud (per SK), which reads "Long Bridge from a little above 14th Street." There is a small pencil drawing of a human figure on the reverse.
