Writes to his parents from Emory Hospital informing them that he is not very sick and will probably be well in two weeks. He has not heard anything from his brother James, but speculates that he has been taken prisoner. Tells them that he has received a pass to "fall to the rear on account of his sickness," which he says is "slight, it is a touch of the Rhumatism..."
