Offers a detailed account of the battle, in which United States Commander Perry defeated a more numerous British fleet. Includes lists of Americans who were wounded in the battle, as well as letters related to the battle from Perry, Commodore Hull, Naval Senior Officer McCall, Commodore Bainbridge, and Naval Secretary Jones.
