Also signed by Samuel Wadsworth and George Smith, all on behalf of the Committee of Inspection for the Town of Hartford. Indicates that the bearer of this letter will have two brass artillery pieces to be delivered to George Washington in Cambridge, for the use of the Continental Army. Requests a receipt and asks that care be taken to avoid damage to the cannons and harnesses.
