The June 26, 2020 edition of Inside the Vault: Highlights from the Gilder Lehrman Collection explores a rare South Carolina printing of the Declaration of Independence and a soldier’s experience at the Battle of Gettysburg. The Collection’s curators were joined by Mandel Holland, an educator at Woodlands Middle High School in Hartsdale, New York, and Peter Vermilyea, an educator at Housatonic Valley Regional High School in Falls Village, Connecticut, and Western Connecticut State University.
