Collection of five photographs related to James Meredith taken by UPI telephoto dated 1962-1966. Pertains to Meredith's enrollment as the first Black student at the University of Mississippi, his campus life and civil rights activism. One photograph in the collection shows head wounds from a shotgun he received during a protest.
