One letter addressed to Annie Nowlan Savery from Susan B. Anthony dated New York, May 10, 1882. Requests that she notify her when she has arrived home. Asks that she report to Rachel G. Foster who will be traveling with May Wright Sewall from North Pennsylvania to Indianapolis. Language used by Anthony alludes to fighting a battle whereby she refers to an "enemy," "ammunition," "war." Also mentions the need to raise $10,000 for a women's suffrage campaign.
