One letter from William J. Myers to Mary Rose Myers dated December 9, 1942. This letter is written on Key Field, Mississippi letterhead but the return address is Madison, Wisconsin. William says he just arrived at the new base where he will be stationed for fourteen weeks. William asks if Mary Rose can come visit. He says on the way she can stop and visit family in Chicago and on the way home she can visit Toledo and see Ray. He mentions that they had a six hour layover in Chicago and went to see the sights. He would have visited her family but didn't know the address. William thanks her for the socks and handkerchiefs. William signs the letter as "Tex."
