One wirephoto released by Associated Press dated April 2, 1957. Shows a ship being raised from the Suez Canal. The attached press release reports that the sunken frigate Abukir is being raised as the last obstacle to traffic on the Suez Canal. The task is especially dangerous as the ship contains an estimated ten tons of explosives in the from of anti-Submarine depth charges, gun shells and grenades. The image is blurry and pixilated.
