One wirephoto released by Associated Press dated May 5, 1956. Shows a seaplane, a small boat and larger ship floating in water. The wire transfer in the photo reports this seaplane and another not pictured were forced down en route from San Diego to Hawaii due to a fuel shortage. The two ships are preparing to tow the seaplane to shore. The photo is stamped on the back with Associated Press information.
