At the Institute’s core is the Gilder Lehrman Collection, one of the great archives in American history. More than 85,000 items cover five hundred years of American history, from Columbus’s 1493 letter describing the New World through the end of the twentieth century.

A photograph of the Hansen couple that took Robert L. Stone in during his rest leave. See GLC09620.159 for the letter where they are referred to as "Hansen."
The back of the photo has a note that says "Jensens- rest leave on their ranch/farm on Kauai," however it is not in Robert L. Stone's handwriting.

A post-it note included with the collection notes these "snaps" are miscellaneous photos of crew/camps/places in the Pacific.
