One letter from Shepard A. Hoffman to Congressman Carlos J. Moorhead dated October 23, 1973. Hoffman writes, "At its meeting of October 23rd 1973, The Student Council of The Johns Hopkins University adopted the following motion: In light of the firing of the Special Watergate Prosecutor Archibald Cox, the resignation of United States Attorney General Elliot L. Richardson, and the dismissal of the United States Deputy Attorney General William D. Ruckelshaus, we the Student Council of The Johns Hopkins University urge that the United States House of Representatives investigate the impeachment of President Nixon."
