One letter from Leonard Eugene Graeff to Susan Prowell Graeff and Raymond James Graeff dated March 24, 1945. He complains about his mail now being delivered to his shop instead of a main shop. He received a letter from Russell Brady explaining where he, and what he is doing. He also received a box from Dottie Erickson. She sent cookies, Hershey bars and an Easter card. He received letters from Robert Winemiller, Marguerite Graeff, Mary Mrs. Moyer, and a box from Edna Klopp. He thanks Susan for the photographs she sent, and asks who is on the steps in front of the house. He also inquired about pictures of the Fencils he had sent to them. He sent a money order to go into his account and asked for them to take care of it.

The copyright law of the United States (title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specific conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be “used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research.” If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of “fair use,” that user may be liable for copyright infringement. This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law.
