One letter from Robert Winemiller to Leonard Eugene Graeff dated December 5, 1943. Robert has been stationed 32 miles outside Yuma, Arizona and he describes the terrain. They live in five-men tents with a sand floor. Robert complains that there is "no women, no lights, no movies." He will be stationed there for three months. He inquires after Leonard. He mentioned they traveled by Pullman train through Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, and Arizona.
