One letter from Susan Prowell Graeff and Raymond James Graeff to Leonard Eugene Graeff dated September 14, 1943. Susan is glad Leonard is doing well and mentions that the neighbors are curious about how he is faring. She refers to the letter and visitor pass from R.R.M. Emmit [GLC.09611.078.01-.02] and is excited about the possibility to visit Leonard. She relays good news concerning Leonard's Ration Book. Raymond took the ration book to the ration board where they can replace it. She says "you surely ought to have gas to travel when you're home." And mentions that things at home are "about the same as usual." Signed, "Mother & Daddy."

The copyright law of the United States (title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specific conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be “used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research.” If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of “fair use,” that user may be liable for copyright infringement. This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law.
