One letter from Richard C. Miller to Leonard Eugene Graeff dated January 6, 1943. Richard is glad that Leonard liked his Christmas card. Richard explains his delay in response on the number of letters he receives. He acknowledges that Leonard is working asks if he has purchased a new car even with the gas shortage. He comments on Robert Winemiller, joining the army he says "its not so bad once you get use to the life, but I assure you, I wouldn't want to go thru those first three months again myself and especially not, in the 'infantry.'" He mentions his recent trip to London and everything he is experiencing, "Its great Moe, war or no its an experience that Ill never forget."
