Letter from Cordelia Williams to her children. She had a good 87th birthday filled with love. She hopes that the Twitties and Kents will all be able to get together soon and have a birthday dinner. She is full of "apprciation for every kindness shown until [she] cannot put it into words." She says she is "trying to express what [she] really feels in her heart" about how happy she is about her birthday. She says that even if she does not live to have another birthday, "all that went into this one...will ever live in my heart." She notes that H. Hamilton Williams was not able to see his mom for her birthday and that she loves him despite all his faults. She keeps thinking about the hot weather they are all dealing with. She sends love and blessings.

The copyright law of the United States (title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specific conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be “used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research.” If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of “fair use,” that user may be liable for copyright infringement. This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law.
