Letter from Cordelia Williams to her children. She hopes that they are having the best life it has to offer and that they are well. There is still "lovely weather" and she is using the yarn Virginia sent her. Something is wrong with her color T.V. and she needs to get it fixed. She has the option of buying a new one. She writes that the Nixon, Ford, and Kissinger administration is corrupt. Her friend, Mrs. Bessie Price is in a hospital in Charlottesville. She just planted the spring bulbs. Her utility taxes have been increased for electric and gas and soon on water. She says politicans only know how to raise taxes. She hopes her letter "filled with bad news" does not upset the children. She wonders if they can find any good news. She sends her love and says "God bless and keep each of you in His care." She sends love and blessings.

The copyright law of the United States (title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specific conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be “used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research.” If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of “fair use,” that user may be liable for copyright infringement. This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law.
