French Lieutenant LeMaitre explains the functioning of a German Nieuport airplane to a fellow soldier at Fort Monroe in Virginia. Many European aviators went to the United States to help train American pilots.

The copyright law of the United States (title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material.
