This letter was forwarded to Senator Bruce by Walton, it concerns Sterns and Wells trying to oust Walton from office. The docket was pasted on by the upper right hand corner, the back of the docket has written F. C. Harris, U.S. Treasury office, and the date of June 22 1875. So the docket might have been written on a part of an old letter.
