One engraving entitled "New York in 1768" dated 1768. Caption notes "view from the rear of Col. Rutgers House East River (from an English print)." Depicts a landscpe view of the East river with a view of New York city in the distance. Colonel Henry Rutgers's house was confiscated and occupied by British troops for seven years during the Revoutionary War. Engraved by James Kirk.
