Contains a report on the progress of the Continental Army near Williamsburg, Virginia written as a letter by the Marquis de Lafayette. Lafayette describes events of the Battle of Green Spring, mentioning the actions of American General Anthony Wayne and British General Charles Cornwallis. Includes reports on a meeting between "the Ambassadors from the several belligerent powers, and of the armed neutrality" in May 1781 at Vienna, Austria.
