The lead article on p. 1 criticizes the Stamp Act. A letter from Charleston, also on the front page, notes that there are too few Sons of Liberty there. A brief extract from Albany Fort on p. 2 reports Indians taking scalps. News of other controversies surrounding the Stamp Act in New York and Boston appear on p. 2-3. Also includes a letter from Henry Seymour Conway, one of King George III's principal secretary's, to the Governor of Massachusetts Sir Francis Bernard urging him to suppress the insubordination in the colony in response to Stamp Act. Also contains news from Europe and many advertisements.
