Prints Lincoln's first Emancipation Proclamation. Said to be the first printing of the proclamation in an abolitionist newspaper. Headline reads "Proclamation of Emancipation - Freedom of the Slaves in Rebellious States on the First Day of January." Peninsula campaign, the draft and contrabands. Inscription "J. Cullanan Jr."
