Telegraphed updates from throughout the country, including one blurb referring to Northern troops as abolitionists: "Abolition Troops at Cairo." Reprint of report from "Charleston Mercury" that describes how the news of the fall of Fort Sumter was received by abolitionists in Washington D.C. Several slave advertisements.
