"The Fight at Murfreesboro" reports deaths at the Battle of Murfreesboro, including an well-respected doctor. Another article, "The Great War Meeting in New York--Efforts to Drum up More Men--Inflamatory Speeches--Letters from President Lincoln, Seward, Sumner, and Edward Everett", prints those individuals' responses, having recieved invitations to a "mass meeting" in New York on July 15.
