Image shows a large brick two-storey house, with a balconey and porch. Graphite inscription on verso "Dr. Bashett's House Murfreesboro, Tenn." Ink inscription on verso "Col. Goddard's H.Q. Murfreesboro, Tenn." Photographers imprint on verso: "[struck in ink: Butler,] Bonsall [struck in ink: & Co.], Army Photographers, General Rousseau's Division. The Negative from which this was taken will be kept in our possession for one month; then, if requested, will be sent to Bonsall's Photograph Gallery, No. 14 West Fifth St. Cincinnati, O., where copies like this can be had at any time by sending the No. of the Negative."
