The image shows one covered and one uncovered wagon, with six horses each, waiting to cross a river, with three other uncovered wagons already in the water. There is a large camp on the riverbank in the distance, and people and horses line the entire visible riverbank. Inscription on verso: "Gardner." Numeric notations on verso: "X" and "710."
