Clerical telegram requesting Pierrpont prosecute Horace Greeley for "persistent effort the last four (4) weeks to incite assassins to finish wheir work by murdering me." Asks him to "secure copies of all Tribunes published since the night after the President's murder. Stanton wrote this telegram in Washington and it was transcribed by the American Telegraph Company in New York.
