Contains the obituary of Captain James R. Kelly. Reports that he died of a wound recieved in battle near Winchester, VA on March 23. The report details the exploits and successes of the 14th Regiment of Indiana Volunteers, of which Kelly was Captain, and describes him as "an honest, upright businessman... ever punctual in the discharge of his duties, and faithful to the interests of the Company."
