Pleas with Brent to pay his troops. Explains the troops' destitute situation and his fears that they may be left without pay throughout the winter. Also discusses the location and plans of various army regiments. Brent was the Army's Paymaster General. Written shortly after the U.S. victory at the Battle of the Thames.
