Letter addressed "Dear Cousin Joe and Bell." Cousin Mary writes from her new home in Nebraska. Comments how different the country looks "...so few trees and such filthy little houses..." Remarks they must travel three miles to purchase wood. Believes the rich soil will yield plentiful crops.
