Peter Robert informs his father that he is sending a trading vessel to Quebec, and believes that his debts will soon be secured. With a copy of Governor Aubry's letter to Peter Robert, 11 July 1769, New Orleans, in which Aubry states that he has not had any luck procuring some money due to Peter Robert, and apologizes for the frustrating circumstances. Followed by a copy of Governor Aubry's letter to the Duke of Preslin in which Aubry requests that Peter Robert be reimbursed for expenditures made to feed and supply French troops during the French and Indian War.
