Ingraham, Chief of the Bureau of Ordnance and Hydrography, discusses the fabrication of guns at the Tredegar Foundry in Richmond, Virginia. States that Joseph Reid Anderson, owner of the Foundry, gave notice that ten guns are ready for inspection. Instructs Minor, Assistant Inspector of Ordnance, to forward required reports of fabrication to the Bureau of Ordnance and Hydrography as soon as possible.
