Published by Evans and Cogswell on "Steam-Power Presses" at No. 3 Broad and 103 East Bay Street, Charleston, South Carolina. The paper cover has correct title, but title page misspells "hte" before "Confederate States." Document establishes the rules "for the government of the armies of the Confederate States." Divided into 3 sections. Section 1 has 101separate articles. Sections 2 and 3 are each only one sentence. These articles are the same rules as that the Union armies used, only with the use of the word "Confederate" instead of "United." Some tears to front cover, mostly at the margins and there is a slight tear in upper corner of back cover. Slight water damage throughout.
