Sending various papers to Halpine, which he may print if he wishes. Also wonders why he has stopped receiving copies of the Citizen, Halpine's paper. Written on Stationary of the Executive Office of the Territory of Montana. Written before June 1867, when Meagher died. One bust engraving of Meagher incldued as collateral.
Thomas F. Meagher was Governor of the Territory of Montana, previously a Union General and Irish revolutionary.
Charles G. Halpine edited numerous newspapers, including the "Citizen," and served as a Union officer and Adjutant General for General Henry Halleck. Born in Ireland.
