Signed by Samuel and Sarah Waldo, and co-signed by Frances Waldo, Isaac and Lucy Winslow, Thomas and Hannah Flucker (most of Hannah Flucker's signature is missing due to a tear in the document), Francis Bernard, and Thomas Goldthwait. John Commell and others signed as witnesses. John [or Jonathon] Williams signed as Justice of the Peace on 12 July 1766. An indenture contract among the above signers and cosigners. Contract concerns land deals Bernard and Goldthwait made with the Waldos, Winslows, and the Fluckers to settle a township near or at Fort Pownall, [in Waldo County, Maine]. Terms and conditions of the contract are included. A portion of the contract is damaged causing minor text loss.
