Lutterloh, Commissary of Forage, writes to Woodhull, Assistant State Agent. Lutterloh writes, "I requested you some time ago to deliver to General Knox six Tuns of Hay, for the use of his Horses- I repeat the request, and wish you would deliver it directly- as the generals horses are in Want of Hay..." On verso, contains details of a hay delivery 8 and 9 February (no year cited). Also includes notes from 9 and 14 March indicating that receipts were given to the persons who delivered the hay for General Knox's horses. Verso signed by Samuel Shaw, Knox's aide-de-camp.
