Provides a list of payments made to the 10 employees of the War Department for the second quarter of 1793. A total of $1,695.18 was paid out on 2 July. All the employees except Secretary Knox signed the document, saying they received their money. The document notes Knox has a salary of $3,000 per annum and his chief clerk makes $800 per annum. The assistant clerks make $500 per annum, while the messenger makes $250. Signed by John Stagg, Constant Freeman, Jr., Benjamin Bankson, Philip Audebert, Nathan Jones, James Henry Laugier, David Henley, Jacob Hoffman, and Frederick Sprig.
