Receipt for items purchased by Rosalie Josephe Bacler de Leval and Jean-Baptiste de la Roche on behalf of the French Company of the Union. Receipt confirms an agreement the company made on 27 August 1791 with William Duer in New York, and on 3 September 1791 with Henry Knox in Philadelphia; it lists goods and services purchased by the company on Henry Jackson's credit.
