Likely written by Lieutenant Thomas Starr of the 2nd Connecticut Regiment. Says that the Sergeants Guard, which has been under his command, has arrived. Asks Captain Haskell whether he should remain with them "here" (possibly West Point) or join his regiment at Verplanks Point.
