Telegram to Brigadier General Scammon of the 23rd Ohio from Wilkinson as the Colonel Commanding Post. Writes that the supplies are in at the Adams express office and asks if he should pay the charges and send them to Scammon. With autograph endorsement signed by Scammon giving Wilkinson the route to travel with the supplies. Only dated 16 April, possible year inferred from Scammon's rank as Brigadier General. Most likely 1863. On stationary of the U.S. Military Telegraph.
