Letter cosigned by Thomas Cranston and Peter Bours, who along with Gardner, were members of the Rhode Island War Committee during the French and Indian War. Gardner orders General Treasurer Thomas Richardson to pay Robert Potter fifty pounds for troop wages and billeting.
