Letter is on Riverside Press letterhead. In the letter, H. O. Houghton defines their objection to the contract, that while Prof. Rawson owns the book, the contract is in another name. The publishers have been asked to do things not included in the contract. He asks Powell to adjust the written contract to match his verbal agreement with Rawson. Powell's copied response at the bottom of the letter indicates a desire to meet with Mr. Hurd on the matter.
