Bas-relief photograph. Bust portrait, facing right. Signed on the lower portion of the frame. Tag glued onto the back of the frame with torn lower left corner. Typed on tag: Bas-relief Photographs/ U. G. Duffield & Co.,/ General Agents,/ [O]dd Fellows Temple. Philadelphia. Typed in a smaller typeface, in the lower left corner where the tag should have been: "Patented March 17, 1896,/ Other Patents Pending." McKinley's face has been raised and contoured to create a 3-dimensional illusion. Photograph framed in cardboard.
The Odd Fellows Temple was a building in Philadelphia, perhaps initially belonging to a Masonic group.
