Title: to George Wortham

Gives the names of six individuals they believe to be spies for the Union. Lists the reasons he believes these men are spies, and what they have done against the Confederate government. The letter is addressed to "Colonel Pit" but the envelope is addressed to George Wortham. Signed three times by B. S. Basnight, also signed by William Basnight and Charles McClees. Excerpt: "…we are perfectly satisfied that the within named parties have frequently reported to the Yankeys newes to the detriment of the C. Government…."
