The two women established and were the proprieters of Saunders' and Beach's Academy for Girls on Meeting House Hill. Beach did serve as the Collector for Gloucester.

Greene has ordered that all troops should be in motion by eight in the morning. Mentions the Marquis (possibly the Marquis de Lafayette).
