Typed Naval dispatch concerning the end of World War II. This message was received in the radio room of the USS Vella Gulf CVE-111, an escort carrier, at sea in the Northwest Pacific with 26th carrier division of the 7th fleet (just days before she had been anchored at Okinawa). The message reads "All hands of the United States Navy Marine Corps and Coast Guard may take satisfaction in the conclusion of the war against Japan and pride in the part played by them in accomplishing that result. Typed affidavit of Ralph N. Jones Jr. with a copy of his Navy ID and discharge cards. According to the discharge card he served from September 25, 1944 to June 25, 1946. According to the affidavit, Jones was serving on the USS Vella Gulf CVE III as a radio man and on duty when the ALNAV message came over the wire. This affidavit is signed and notarized.

This poster warnsabout the effect of enemy propaganda disseminating on the home front during the war by giving examples of rumors and the truth side by side. For example "There are frequent suicides in cantonments, where men have to 'Pay for food brought in from outside' or else starve to death" the fact listed next to this example reads, "This is a German lie. THE German circulating it has been interned" There are 6 different examples, and the poster asks citizens to report anyone circulating such rumors to the National Committee of Patriotic Societies.

Collection of fifty-nine posters, dated circa 1940s concerning World War II. Posters were printed in the United States, England and Canada. The subjects are related to buying war bonds, war stamps, rationing, salvage, recycling and possible espionage. Ten of the posters were printed by Autocar, advertising their trucks, and their part in the war effort.

Captain Cole proposes a seven-point plan for a convoy of ships to sail to the plantations of America. The captain details which ships should go to which section of colonies and how many Navy ships should go with them for protection. "The Tables Turned" illustrated 1877 broadside with Denis Kearney in prision stripes, with Chinese caricatures poking insults at him. He had been jailed for inciting a riot aimed at Chinese workers in San Francisco.

Broadside of a poem recited at a celebration of the Fourth of July at Mount Vernon. The poem mocks the defeated Confederates. It also mentions Copperheads, and people who fled to Canada to avoid the draft. There is also a section about Jefferson Davis and his attempt to flee wearing women's clothes.

One presidential advertisement for Taft's reelection printed in the "Saturday Evening Post" dated October 26, 1912. The one-paged print out is an endorsement of William Howard Taft by the Republican National Committee. Text refers to candidate Woodrow Wilson as a "danger and William Howard Taft as "safety." It recalls the Payne-Aldrich Tariff Act signed by Taft. It was given unwarranted critcism and proved to be beneficial for the economy in the long run.
