Also mentions casualties, his good health, and missing her.

Signed by Benjamin Franklin, Samuel Wharton, Thomas Pownall and Thomas Walpole. The document admits the Ohio Company as additional co-purchaser for a tract of land "for a new province on the Ohio." The manuscript states how the land will be divided. (The land being purchased is now in the state of Indiana.) Accompanied by a manuscript sale announcement for several thousand acres "situated on the River Ohio, a little above the River Kentucke [sic]."

Criticizes the weakness of the American Air Force, compared to the Soviets, and advocates "a Strategic Air Force with sufficient retaliatory powers." With Kennedy's autograph notes in ink and pencil on verso of p. 4, and manuscript edits in blue ink on p. 1-3 (possibly in the handwriting of his wife, Jacqueline). The bottom of page 2 has been clipped and replaced with a new typewritten section.

This document is a copy of the Constitutional Telegraphe published in 1800. It reports on the "Triumph of Democracy," the funeral of Washington (with diagram of procession) and reports a speech of Gov. McKean. The top of the newpaper is decorated with a masthead of an eagle and the motto "We advocate the rights of man." The newspaper was active from 1799-1802 and supported Thomas Jefferson during his Presidency.

William J. Dodge was convicted in the U.S. District Court of Western New York of making seditious utterances while the U.S. was a war, in violation section 3 of the Espionage Act of 16 May 1918, appeal was denied by the Second Circuit Court of Appeals 13 October 1919 and the Supreme Court denied a petition for a writ of certiorari. Dodge began serving his sentence at the State penitentiary at Baltimore, Maryland on 22 January 1920. Wilson commuted his sentence to expire on 22 November 1920. Countersigned by William L. Discusses the possibility of New Mexico entering the Union as a free or slave state, and the Compromise of 1850. Defends himself from Horace Greeley's criticism (Greeley was editor of the Tribune). Concludes by stating, "Things look awfully gloomy-- I feel a split on the slave [line]! God save the Republic."
